I admit building your own home is a lot of work, but the end result is worth the effort.  When you build your own home you get to make all the decisions and you get to be the boss. We really liked that about building your own home. There were certain things we wanted to have and we didn't want anyone to tell us it wouldn't work.  When you build your own home you can make it work. We became very good at negotiating and finding different contractors that were familiar with the build your own home process.  We had such a great experience that we decided to buy a build your own home franchise.  Now that we own a build your own home franchise we help other people learn how to do it themselves too.  We are enjoying the work and are very happy we decided to buy the build your own home franchise.
