I want to build my own home but do not know where to start when you build a home.  I have started to do some research on basics when you build a home and have found out that I can have someone else just build the shell f or me.  I think it was the shell that scared me the most if I were to build my home.  If I were to hire someone else to build the shell the rest would be quite simple for me.  I have helped others build a home in the past but not the shell.  My wife and I have started to make up the plans for when I build my home.  After the plans are complete we will check into someone to build the shell so I may continue to build my home.
