Sick of renting, so I built my own home!

A few years ago, I became sick of renting. It felt like such a money sink. I was investing hundreds of dollars every month into paying for a service that I had no return on. This is when I decided it was time to get my own home. After speaking to lots of real estate agents, I could not find a place I liked. When I confided in a friend about it he replied, “Why don’t you build your own home?”. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t thought of it sooner.
The next day I went and found out what it takes to be your own builder. I learned how to build the shell of the building and found out about some custom home packages.
Months later the complete project looked great and it still does to this day.
